Haris Rauf, is a professional cricket player for Pakistan, he was born on November 7, 1993. He made his cricketing debut for Pakistan at the international level, in January 2020.

On October 5, 2018, he played his first Twenty20 match for the Lahore Qalandars in the 2018 Abu Dhabi T20 Trophy. However, he was chosen by the Lahore Qalandars in the players’ draft for the 2019 Pakistan Super League competition in November 2018, and in December 2022, he faced England in his first Test match.

Rauf preferred football to cricket, while he was a student at the Islamabad Model College for Boys I-8/3. He helped his school win the football championship and was named the competition’s top player.

He joined the International Islamic University cricket team in Islamabad, and at first, he resisted the coach’s request to go to the Lahore Qalandars trials in Gujranwala in September 2017. Later on, he consentedand was noticed by Aaqib Javed, who encouraged him to play cricket in Australia. He was then chosen for the Lahore Qalandars for the 2018 Abu Dhabi T20 Trophy, marking his debut in the local league.
