Multi-instrumentalist who plays bass guitar in alternative rock band Snow Patrol. He replaced former bassist Mark McClelland.

Before Fame

He was formerly the guitar player for the Glasgow band Terra Diablo and was already friends with Snow Patrol even before he joined them officially.

Trivia

He injured his left arm and shoulder during the Eye Open Tour in 2006 which forced the band to cancel 6 shows.

He was born in Kinlochleven, Scotland. He previously dated actress Hayley Atwell.
