Her first acting job was in a commercial for McDonalds.

She visited several L.A. schools to prepare for her role in Clueless and was surprised by how close to the movie some of them were. In 2014, she played Kitty Nygaard in the first season of the popular TV show Fargo.

She has a sister and brother. She married Jeremy Turner.
