Michael Benjamin (Mika) is a singer from Haiti who was born in 1981. Mikaben is the legendary Lionel Benjamin’s son. Mikaben began his solo career in the late 1990s, when he received first place for the song “Nwel trist” (Sad Christmas), which Mikaben penned for the Telemax-organized “Konkou Nwel.” Mikaben released two solo albums, “Vwayaj” in 2000 and “Mika” in 2004.
